As the name suggests, PET's are supposed to be written in a language that is easy to understand. PET's cover common Linux issues that many newbies may be wondering, like installing software, changing the default window manager, compiling kernel, etc.

The Beginners Linux Guide
A guide designed for people who are new to Linux. Contains topics like installing Linux, using the command shell and vi text editor, configuring hardware, connecting to internet, and so on... stuff that will be very useful for people who have just installed Linux for the first time.
