The Fedora Project is an open source project sponsored by Red Hat and supported by the Fedora community. Although some of the technology developed by the Fedora community may be included in Red Hat's products, Fedora is not a supported product of Red Hat, Inc. A part of the project is Fedora Core, a Linux operating system practically based on Red Hat Linux.
